Stats and Gems
Ember Knights have five Main Stats: HP, Weapon Damage, Skill Damage, Crit Chance and Movement Speed, all of which can be increased by acquiring Stat Gems.
Stat Gems have two sizes; Large and Small. Large Stat Gems grant more stats than small ones, but are usually less common.
Gems are found in a multitude of ways:
As rewards from completing rooms and defeating mini-bosses and bosses.
After defeating enemies buffed by Praxis' shield, or by defeating enemies with the Mimic King's Consort relic.
By finding a Stat Selector. These allow players to choose between 3 randomly selected Large Gems.
Stats
HP = Amount of damage a Knight can take before dying.
Weapon Damage = Damage done by a weapon's chain or charged attacks.
Skill Damage = Damage done by casting skills. Also increases the damage done by the Void Mantle's Dark Spells as well as other weapon mods, such as the Nexal Staff's Seeking Orbs.
Crit Chance = Chance of getting a crit on chain or charged attacks. Crits do x1.5 damage of the weapon damage stat. Crit chance "caps" at 100%, going higher than 100% has no effect.
Movement Speed = Value determining how fast a Knight can move.
Stat Gems
Gem of Vigor
= Increase Max HP by 10/5
Gem of Power
= Increase Weapon Damage by N
Gem of Wisdom
= Increase Skill Damage by 25%/5%
Gem of Precision
= Increase Crit Chance by 4%/2%
Gem of Agility
= Increase Movement Speed by 15%/5%
